Information about the Official Games

On Wednesday November 21st, the Reaping will begin. Unless we have some escort applications by that time, I'll just post them with NPCs. Volunteers are obviously going to be accepted, and for each district there will be ten (10) names that I'll be placing in my online dice thingie. If you have a character from that district, you'll obviously be added in.

Note that if the system for this Games that I have planned out doesn't work, we're just going to pretend they never happened. Test run, basically. If it works out, perfect. If not, it's not a big deal.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have ALL of the characters you want to participate in the Games (including stylists, escorts, gamemakers, mentors, etc.) completed by TUESDAY NOVEMBER 20TH. That is your deadline if you want to be included in the Reaping!!

Change of plans!! I have stuff to do on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Thanksgiving, SOOO......

The Games have been postponed until Monday November 26th. Sorry!

Your characters are due Friday the 23rd instead of Tuesday the 20th :3

I'm apparently having issues with my own characters. Plus, things seem to be slowing down a bit here. Anyways; I'm going to set the Games off until I find a little bit more time.

I know, I keep postponing things. Sorry.

If you guys need anything, or want the Games to start this Monday like planned, let me know via PM. If I get no answer about this, then it will be postponed until further notice.

Gawd, this site is dead now.

In an effort to um...suck you guys back in, the Games are going to start next Tuesday, on the 11th. Characters need to be finished, and Zuzu (I hope you see this), I would love to Chatango with you about the deets on the arena.

Anyways. No more postponing. Tuesday is the solid date, no extensions, no exceptions. Characters must be finished and approved by Monday the 10th.

Also worth noting. I, Zurok Takamatzu (gamemaker) am adding a twist to the games.

instead of using my tributes (since I only have one and she is not complete), I am going to play as a select group of NPC tributes. some may form alliances with each other, some may form alliances with you. here are the terms.

--they will survive the bloodbath, and so will usually be somewhat tough
--they may form alliances with each other, or with other players, depending on how they are interacted with.
--they will not win the 'Games, for the players are supposed to win those. If every player does something unforgivably stupid, they will win, but let's hope it doesn't' come to that
--these NPCs will not be all of the nameless tributes (we need most of them to die at the bloodbaths), and are most likely to appear from certain districts.
--There will probably be between 3 and 6 NPC tributes per game
--Other than alliances, they will not solely go after the players, and it is very likely that some of these NPC tributes will kill each other off.

I'm posting the *official* list of tributes today. Reaping posts will be up and created by later this afternoon or tomorrow morning where you guys can post and add things, etc.

The Reaping threads will be unlocked until the 12th if posted today, the 13th if posted tomorrow, then we'll send the tributes off to the trains and to the Capitol for training, interviews, gaining sponsors, making alliances, etc.

As stated by Zurok, NPCs will play a role in these, especially as we don't have many actual tributes and this needs a real plot.

Any questions, please PM either one of us.

Sorry it took me so long to get this list up! Coming up with random names for other districts isn't exactly easy and I apologize for the wait!

The Reapings are posted!!

You can find them in The Capitol; they're all there, and open for you to reply to as you wish! Try to stay respective to your own district, or you can comment on what you noticed when you were watching.

Here's a schedule about the events of this 'Games:

Reapings: Open until the 14th! Make sure you get a post in to seal your spot in the 'Games, otherwise you'll be NPC'd!

Interviews: Begin on the 15th, last until the 18th. These WILL close at 7:30 Mountain Time, unless I can get Zuzu to close them at midnight.

Training: The Training will begin on the 19th and continue all the way until the 26th. THAT'S AN ENTIRE WEEK TO TRAIN. Make sure you post as often as you can in EACH of the training stations! If you need to talk/RP with an NPC from your District or your Escort, I'll be happy to oblige!

THE ARENA: The event we're all waiting and anticipating! This will happen on the 27th, lovees! The Games will obviously continue until the last tribute is standing! You have 48 hours to post in the Games, or you will be killed. For those of you (you know who you are) who came to me with the need for a little more time, you understand that there is more leniency on this for you. Make sure you adhere to our deal.
